First Floor Gallery presents its first collaboration with Zimbabwean artist, Helen Teede, It Is The Without, is a new body of work, inspired by the possibility of leaving the home she grew up in. These canvases and works on paper, are a melodic rumination on the idea of loss, nostalgia and memory. As an insightful and accomplished abstractionist, Teede is a rare phenomenon in contemporary Zimbabwean art. Not to be missed.
